    QUESTION:  "Hi Becky I'm fascinated to know how Boris Vallejo got involved to do the artwork. I'm an avid fan of Frank Frazetta an artist of similar style. Who made the call?, did he commission this specially or was it from a portfolio?"

    ANSWER:  "What happened was that we were fans of Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo and others, and as a lark, Brian sent out notes to these artists to see if they would be interested in doing a cover and lo and behold, Boris sent us a rate card. We paid about $4000 to $5000 for the rights to use a painting he did for us. We didn't own the painting, just the rights to use it as a cover. This painting was done specifically for Dragon Wars.
