COMPOSITION DATABASE - ROCKET PROPELLANT

KNO3 PROPELLANT #1
Potassium Nitrate 72%
Charcoal 24%
Sulfur 4%

Straight black powder (75:15:10) can't be used as a rocket propellant beacuse its burn rate is to fast. However, if you decrease the precentage of potassium nitrate and increase the percentage of charcoal, you can slow down the burn rate to make it usable in rocket motors. Mix all the chemicals together and ball mill for at least 4 hours and then press into rocket body.
